Sabang Indonesia MA – India–Indonesia Coordinated Patrol (Ind-Indo Corpat) between Indian Navy and Indonesian Navy is being conducted from 10.12.2024 to 18.12.2024 Indian Navy ships will be at Sabang, Aceh from 10.12.2024 to 12.12.2024 for the opening phase. The exercise features the participation of the Indian Naval Ships Kesari and LCU L57.
Dinner reception was organised on INS Kesari on 10.12.2024 at Sabang Port, Aceh. The invited guests who participated were H.E. Andri Norman, Acting Mayor of Sabang, 1st Admiral Pak Anung Sutanto, S.sos M.Si, Danguskamla Koarmada 1 of Indonesian Navy; senior officers of Indonesian Navy and Army; senior officials of BPKS Sabang; senior officers of Sabang Immigration, senior officers of customs and friends of India.
Commodore Prashant Hando, who is leading the Indian Naval Ships participation in 43rd edition of IND-INDO CORPAT welcomed the guests onboard. Consul General of India, Medan Mr. Ravi Shanker Goel addressed the gathering during which he emphasised the importance of India-Indonesia relationship and the opportunities ahead. The dinner reception included cultural performances on INS Kesari and delicious Indian food was served to the invited guests. Indian side presented souvenirs to the Indonesian dignitaries.
